Southern Aluminium Industry (China) Co., Ltd. (SAIC) is a joint venture between two prominent overseas enterprises: Maspion Group from Indonesia and Shinyu Shoji Co., Ltd. from Japan. Established in 1992, SAIC is a large scale modern aluminium rolling mill which is strategically located in the Rongqiao Economic & Technological Development Zone, Fuqing City, Fujian Province in China. The Location is 70km from Fuzhou Changle International Airport, 60km from Mawei International Containers Port and 38km from the new Jiangyin International Containers Port. SAIC is also flanked by Toll road and 324 highway.

With the prefect infrastructure and excellent communication and transportation system in the area, SAIC is able to serve both overseas and domestic customers with case. Occupying land area of 240,000 square meters, SAIC is equipped with two continuous casting production lines with total annual capacity of 15,000MT, one hot rolling production line with annual capacity of 46,000MT, two foil production lines with total annual capacity of 35,000MT (one of the lines can produces 1,600mm wide foil with annual capacity of 24,000MT). One aluminium alloy tread plate and non ferrous metal clad production line. The main equipment is imported from Europe/USA with a variety of modern state-of-the-art production control and quality assurance device and high automation, conforming to the advanced international standards. SAIC has set up a strong research and development (R&D), adopted advanced aluminium production process of Alumindo from Maspion Group, closely followed the advanced international aluminium processing technique and scientific management system, to continuously and produces high quality products for different end-use applications to satisfy various specific customers requirement.

Currently, SAIC's main product range is: high quality aluminium circle, aluminium in sheet/coil, embossed sheet/coil, aluminium alloy tread plate, non-ferrous metal clad plate, aluminium roofing, printing sheet base, fin's stock, electronic and electric foil, cathode foil, cigarette and food packaging foil (0.0060mm, 0.0065mm, 0.0070mm), and so on. The products are sold to both domestic and overseas markets. They are used in automotive, electronic and electric, kitchenware, construction / decoration and packaging for cigarettes, foods/beverages, medicines and many other fields.
SAIC has been named Fujian Province's "High-Tech Enterprises". Our quality and quantity management system have acquired ISO9001:2000 and ISO10012:2008 certification, issued by government certified authority. The foil and curtain wall products are categorized as "Fujian Province's Branded Products". As 2003-2005 Fujian's Overseas Investment Star Enterprise", SAIC have become one of the few modern integrated Aluminium Rolling Mills in China, who possesses continuous casting, hot rolling, foil, non-ferrous metal cladding, and advance production lines under one roof.
